'Sea Pictures' Saturday 10th September at 6pm
Following the success of 'Portrait of a Woman', Maggie Cooper, Laetita Fédérici and Daniela Ironside lead the audience through the fascinating world of the sea with Elgar's 'Sea Pictures' but also explore the theme of water and rain which has inspired so many composers and artists. The programme will include works by Elgar, Duparc , Debussy and Barber as well as live painting and sculpting, proposing a multidimensional experience of the recital. Bizet's 'Carmen' with Carshalton Opera 15th/16th October
Maggie Cooper performs the role of Carmen for Carshalton Opera's production with the Thames Sinfonia in an abridged version arranged for Carshalton Opera's family operas series and staged at All Saints Church Carshalton.
