The Sight of Sound

The Sight of Sound is an immersive performance experience where classical music and visual art meet, transforming the traditional vocal recital into a multi sensory collaboration.

The artists hands are filmed and projected onto a large screen, allowing the audience to witness the new artwork inspired by the performance.

Each recital is adaptive in theme and duration; bespoke to suit all venues.​​

Daniela Ironside is a figurative painter who graduated from the Glasgow School of Art I 1996 (BA Hons Fine Art: Drawing and Painting), followed by a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design from Goldsmiths College London. Alongside years of teaching, family life, and volunteering in the London arts heritage sector, she has maintained and developed her own art practice. She works across painting and drawing, using a range of media including watercolour, inks, and acrylic gouache. Her work explores narrative, colour, composition and mood.

 

Laetitia Fédérici holds a Master degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and enjoys a versatile career as an accompanist. Previous engagements include a tour in China with the Trinity Boys Choir, Beaumaris Festival in Wales and Klasik festival in France. She particularly enjoys devising and presenting thematic and engaging programmes. Laetitia is an examiner for Trinity College London.

 

Maggie Cooper trained on a scholarship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (BMus Mmus) where she first met Laetitia. She has given recitals at the Holywell Music Room, St Johns Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields, She co-founded Carshalton Opera in 2017 and was nominated for the Future Classic Women Awards in 2019.
