National Gallery,  'The Death of Actaeon'          Thursday 25th January  4pm

 

An audio description and re-telling of Titian's 'The Death of Actaeon' for the visually impaired led by Carlo Corsato, with commissioned works for voice and cello composed by Nina Plapp; performed by Nina Clapp and Maggie Cooper.

'Cinderella '23'                                             4th February - 12th March

         

An evening of love, laughter and classic musical favourites from the wonderful arias of Handel and Rossini to the fabulous songs of Jerome Kern, all ending with a joyous and unexpected twist.

'The Merry Messiah'                                     1st April - 6th May

         

In the Merry Opera Company's dramatisation of Handel's Messiah, twelve strangers seek spiritual comfort in their struggle to understand the world. Singing together in a church, they inspire each other to pick up the ragged ends of their faith and look to the future with hope.
